Associate Professor Rana Badr is a highly accomplished academic and professional in the field of architectural engineering. She holds a BA degree in Architectural Engineering, which she obtained in 1996, and later pursued a diploma in architectural engineering in 2001-2002. In 2004-2005, she completed her MSc degree in architectural engineering, followed by a Ph.D. in Architectural Design - Building Codes in 2009.
Dr. Badr's expertise extends beyond architectural engineering, as she also holds a BA degree in interpretation. In 2023, she was appointed as an Associate Professor in the Department of Architectural Design at Tishreen University. Throughout her career, she has held various administrative positions, including Administrative Deputy of the Faculty of Architectural Engineering and Administrative Deputy of the College of Fine Arts from 2015 to 2017. From 2017 to 2022, she served as the Dean of the Faculty of Architectural Engineering at Tishreen University, and concurrently, as the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the same university.
Dr. Rana Badr has contributed significantly to the field through her involvement in general engineering projects in Syrian governorates, particularly in regional planning. She is also a certified translator and has served as a lecturer at Yarmouk Private University since 2009. Furthermore, she holds a European Union certification as a trainer in 3D printing and CNC engraving. Her research findings have been published in numerous local, Arab, and international magazines.
